Regulation and License

MiCA Regulation

Under the MiCA regulation, crypto-assets are defined as digital assets that can be transferred and stored electronically using DLT technology (other than financial instruments). Licensed crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) have a special status as regulated entities under the supervision of the NBS.

Madison Six j. s. a. provides the following crypto-asset services in accordance with the MiCA Regulation*: - custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients; - exchange of crypto-assets for funds; - exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets; - execution of orders for crypto-assets on behalf of clients; - reception and transmission of orders for crypto-assets on behalf of clients; - providing transfer services for crypto-assets on behalf of clients.

NBS License

Since December 18, 2025, Madison Six j. s. a. has been a holder of a crypto-asset service provider license granted by the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) under file no. 100-001-025-213 in accordance with the MiCA Regulation*. At the same time, based on the aforementioned license, the company is authorized to provide crypto-asset services cross-border throughout the EU/EEA through the right of establishment.
